Sanjay Ram says that the problem with Sherin is resolved

Actress Sherin made her debut as heroine through the Tamil film Thullavadho Ilamai. Now she has acted in the film Poova Thalaiya. This film is being released day after tomorrow. Krishna Kumar, Udhaya, Megha Nair, Swetha and Vaali have also acted in this film. Sanjay Ram has produced and directed this film.

Sherin has made a complaint against the producer that he has not given her the balance salary of Rs 5 Lakhs. In her complaint she has mentioned,"I had demanded Rs 15 Lakhs to act in this film. But they signed me for this film agreeing to pay Rs 9 Lakhs as salary. They paid me an amount of Rs 4 Lakhs as first installment. They did not pay the balance amount of Rs 5 Lakhs."

Sherin’s mother Yashodhara while speaking said,"Sherin had acted for 25 days. 5 more days are remaining. But they did not call her for shooting. Now there is news that they are releasing this film without paying the balance amount."

When asked Sanjay Ram about this, he said,"Actress Sherin had given 20 days call sheet for Poova Thalaiya. We shot for some days. Then we went to Udumalpet to continue the shooting. We were waiting for her but she did not come at all. She had given our dates to a Kannada film and was acting in it. Because of this we incurred heavy loss. We also faced lots of problems from Sherin’s mother. She gave us lots of disturbance. In spite of all this we patiently completed this film. Nadigar Sangam (Actors Association) intervened in this problem and amicably settled this matter. Now the problems have been resolved."
