I have read this novel many times. I am not in a position to reveal my role in this film. When I studied in college in Mumbai I used to go by bus. One day I took a wrong direction bus by mistake. When I alighted at the next stop, I was not able to know what was that place.

I saw some blind boys playing cricket. I asked one of the boys and asked him the way. Immediately he said,"How did you come here?". I told him that I took the wrong bus.

He said,"Though I am blind I am able to sense which side is the ball coming and I am able to strike it. But how is it that you took the wrong bus?"This question made me think. At the same time, I also got an idea. That is I wanted render help to blind people. That is why even now I am indulged in charitable social activities."

I don’t know who is behind this and I don't have any connection with these rumors. I have broken down every time I hear this rumor. My mother has been my strength during this had times.

Many comment that 'the present day heroines are not acting like the olden day heroines'. That is because those days films gave importance to heroines, but now the heroines are only used for glamour purposes.

I can bring out my entire acting skills only if I am given a big role, such as Ramya Krishna's role in Padaiyappa.

After Vamsam, Arulnidhi is acting in this film titled Udhayan. Kamal Haasan’s elder daughter Shruthi Haasan has sung a song for this film. Arulnidhi who is the grandson of Chief Minister Kalaignar Karunanidhi debuted in the film Vamsam. Now he is doing the lead role in the film titled Udhayam.

I accepted some. I was able to understand that the Tamil audiences have lot of expectations about my acting. Apart from this I consider that my hard work has yielded these gifts. My desire is to earn a good name. I am taking efforts for this.

Many are asking me whether I have seen the original Mappillai. This is the early hit film which had Rajnikanth in the lead role. In Hindi this film was remade with the title Janma Raja which had Anil Kapoor in the lead role. I have seen that film. Madhuri Dixit has donned the female lead role in that film. Though I am acting in that role, director Suraaj has changed my role to suit the present trend. Much importance to comedy has been given in this film. The songs sequences have also come out well. Dhanush has taught me Tamil. He is a wonderful actor."

Now I have become very clear. Now my whole time job is cinema only. I don’t want to talk about my family matters any more. Vidhya Balan in Raana

Raana is a film in which Rajnikanth will be donning triple role after Moondru Mugam which was released many years ago.

This film is to be directed by K S Ravikumar who had earlier directed Rajni in Muthu and Padaiyappa. A R Rahman is composing the music for this film.

At a time when actresses feel that it is a great boon to act with Rajni, Asin has refused to act with Rajni in this film. K S Ravikumar has translated the whole script and sent it to Asin. What is the reason for Asin refusing this role?

Asin after reading the whole script had asked that with which Rajni she is pairing. They said that Rekha is pairing with the elder and Deepika Padukone will pair with the younger brother and Asin is to pair with second Rajni.

Asin after sensing that the role is a small one declined it and said that she is ready to act if she is given Deepika Padukone role. So K S Ravikumar instead pressurizing her approached Vidhya Balan to do this role. Vidhya Balan is an ardent fan of Rajni. Even recently in a programme which was held in Delhi, she prostrated before Rajni and sought his blessings. She immediately agreed to do the role.

My family met with a worst car accident. My mother is still not well. She is also a heart patient. I am staying in Mumbai to take care of her. Immediately there is news that I have filed divorce suit against my husband and have also lodged a police complaint against him. Can anybody prove that in which police station I have lodged the complaint? They are telling that both of us loved and we were never cordial right from the beginning. Yes. I am a peaceful person. He is short tempered. What is wrong in this?

If both are of same type then what is the necessity of another person. One can live single itself. They are creating imaginary story that there was a heavy loss because the film Thakita Thakita which we produced was a flop and because of this there is a big quarrel among us. On the same day of the release of our film, another two films were also released. They were also flops.

Why these people don’t talk about these films. Can there be anybody who will get separated from their husband because a film flopped. This is the greatest comedy."

Lakshmi Rai might in James Cameroon’s film

Lakshmi Rai said that she will act in a Hollywood film to be directed by James Cameroon who directed Avatar. Lakshmi Rai is pairing with Mohanlal in a Malayalam film titled Arabiyum, Ottakavum, P. Madhavan Nairum.

The shooting of this film is taking place in Al Kadhina deserts in Abu Dhabi. When the shooting was going on, a special desert jeep stooped at the shooting spot. Priyadarshan and his crew were shocked seeing the jeep. The reason for this was the person who came out of the jeep was the famous Hollywood director James Cameroon who directed films like Avatar and Titanic.

Priyadarshan while speaking about this said,"James Cameroon had come to Abu Dhabi to participate and give a talk about 3D in the Abu Dhabi Media Meet. On hearing the information about his presence I got a dinner appointment the prior day itself from him. At that time itself he mentioned that he wanted to come to the shooting spot and see that how we make films. When he came to the spot the next day, we were all taken aback. He appreciated our way of working and left the place."

Lakshmi Rai while speaking about this said,"I met James Cameroon at the dinner hosted by Priyadarshini got the opportunity to speak to him for a long time. He enquired about Indian cinema and about its trade. I told him that I am a great fan of his films and whether there is any opportunity for me to work with him. He said that he will be directing the Part 2 of Avatar and some more films. There is chance for me to act in any one of these films. I will also be going to California to meet him once again. Hindu Makkal Katchi to send cigarette packets to Sana Khan

Sana Khan recently while speaking said that smoking is good for women and they can become slim. The members of Hindu Makkal Katchi in order to protest have planned to send cigarette packet parcels to Sana Khan.

Sana Khan has debuted as heroine through the film Silambattam. Recently a press meet was held for the success of the film Payanam which had Nagarjuna, Prakash Raj, M S Bhaskar, Babloo, Mano Bala, Poonam Kaur and Sana Khan in the cast.

The State President of this party Mr Kumar in a statement has stated,’ The Government and other NGOs are taking steps to eradicate smoking. But at this point of time Sana Khan has invented that women can become slimmer by smoking three cigarettes a day. It also looks like as if she is supporting smoking. Her statement is highly condemnable. So as a protest we haveproposed to send a parcel containing cigarettes."

Miss India Sindhura dons the role of a CBI Officer

Director says that Ananya did not cooperate with him

Poorna did the female lead role in the recently released film Aadu Puli. She while speaking about Aadhi whom she paired with in Aadu Puli said,"Many of the people scared me by telling that Aadhi is a very reserved type person and that he will not speak to girls with so easily.

I saw Aadhi’s acting in the film Eeram. After seeing that film I was scared of Aadhi. Had I seen his film Mirugam I would have definitely refused to act with him.
