Is Nayanthara planning to quit acting?

Nayanthara has started to reduce her films. Her films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada were recently released and were great hits. Because of this she has become the number one actress of the year. Her salary has also escalated.

Offers are pouring on her. But she has not accepted any new films. Now she is acting only in one Telugu film titled Ram Rajyam. She declined to act in a film which had Venkatesh in the lead role. There is also news that she is likely to marry Prabhu Deva and has also plans to settle in Dubai after her marriage and that is the reason that she is not accepting new films.

When asked Nayanthara whether she is going to quit acting, she said,” I have decided to take a long rest. There is nothing more to tell. They had called me to act in Savithri which had Venkatesh in the lead role. Though I liked the story, I was not able to act in it because of my personal reasons.

I have understood the difference between the personal life and cinema life. Now I am very happy and heart contended. All the films which I have acted were great hits. I got lots of appreciations. I expected that the film Boss Engira Baskaran will be a great hit when director Rajesh narrated the story to me.

My character was also good in the film. I am donning the role of Seetha in the film Ram Rajyam. This film is Ramayana story. The Lava Kusa portions are only being shot. This film is a remake of the old film which had Anjali Devi had acted. I am doing the role which Anjali Devi did in the original version.”

Thamanna furious over the rumors that she is in love with Karthi

When Thamanna was asked whether she was really in love with Karthi, Thamanna turned furious and said,” I have told many times that I am not in love with Karthi. But still there are rumors that I am in love with Karthi.

It is foolish to link me with Karthi. Since we both acted in Paiyya and Siruthai, people are spreading such rumors. It is comfortable to pair with Karthi since we had already acted in a film. Since we had already worked in a film, it is easy to act in Siruthai.

We both have understood our pros and cons. We have also have a good understanding. This itself helps us to improve our acting talents. We have no other kind of feelings. It is happy experience acting in Siruthai. A song sequence was shot Phuket and it has come out well.

I am pairing with Dhanush in Vengai. I am donning the role of a village girl. I will be wearing half saree throughout this film. My birthday falls on 21st. At that time I will be in the shooting of Vengai directed by Hari. My mother accompanies me to the shootings.”

Samantha again in Gowtham Menon’s film

Gowtham Menon has the habit of working with the same actresses who had acted in his previous film.

Samantha had acted in a guest role in the Tamil film Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya and also did the female lead role in the Telugu version of Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya.

Now Gowtham has signed her for his next film which is to be made in Tamil and Telugu. Ashoka Vallabanani is producing this film. The shooting of this film is to commence next May.

He had given Samantha her small role in the film Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya. At that time he had promised her that he would give a role that would give her a break in Tamil films.

That is why he has given her a role in this film in which the hero is yet to be finalized.

Saranya says that acting as mother is a good experience

Saranya has completed nearly 100 films. She while speaking to the media said,” I made by debut as heroine through the film Nayagan. After this I continued to act as heroine in many films.

In my very young age I switched over to character artist roles. So far I have donned the role of a mother in more than 50 films. It is a good experience for me to do mother roles.

Thenmerku Paruva Katru in which I have acted is my 100th film. This film will be make me very popular. I have taken so much training to act in this film. So far I have donned the soft mother roles. In this film I have donned the role of a rough and tough mother.”

Vijayalakshmi says that she is bored with homely roles

Vijayalakshmi says that she is bored with homely roles. She while speaking to the media said,” I have done homely roles in all the films I have acted so far.

That is the mistake I have done. Because of this mistake there was a image that I am suitable for such roles only. Apart from this, I am bored doing these kind of homely roles.

To change this image I have decided to act in glamour roles. Because of this I have conducted a photo shoot. My idea is that once we have decided to act, we should be ready to act in any roles.

I will be acting in a Tamil film. Talks are going on regarding this.”

‘Kadhal’ Saranya speaks about her recent controversy

There was news that‘Kadhal’ Saranya has been kidnapped by someone and her mother Manjula had given a police complaint with regard to this. But Saranya had given a statement that she is safe in her friend’s house and she had come out of the house because she was having problems with her mother.

When asked Saranya that what was the problem between her mother and her, she said,” Money is the problem. If I get Rs 4 Lakhs for a film, I cant give all the money to my mother. I have also have expenses. Even if I have to buy costumes it will cost me thousands.

But my mother does not understand all this. She keeps on pestering me for money all the time. I was not able to bear this. Only with the money I earn, we can live comfortably when there is no shooting. My mother does not understand all this.

She is mad after money. There was also a news that my mother is saying that I am in the clutches of a black magician or a lover. If she tells that she is pestering me for money, it will look repulsive. So in order to cover this, she is telling lies that I am with a black magician or a lover. I know who black magician is and who the lover is.

Immediately there is a question who is that that lover. I am not against love. There is nothing wrong in loving. But for time being I am in love with cinema. I am very upset because of this problem. That’s all. Now I am staying in my friend’s house and I am going for shooting from there. But the situation is not suitable for me to stay in my house. The time is not yet come..”
